Onlife Connect - Extremely Complex Media Control

When every pixel moves simultaneously

Case Study

Event: Onlife Connect – "The networking conference of the holy madmen"

Location: TERK Aula

Service: Integrated LED system (main wall + totems + perimeters) with media server control

The Challenge

Onlife Connect is not an average business conference, but a dynamic, "crazy" networking event. The venue, the TERK Aula, is a modern, glass-walled space flooded with natural light. The challenge was twofold:

  1. Lighting Conditions: Due to the influx of natural light, projection was out of the question; only high-brightness LED technology could be used.
  2. Visual Unity: The organizers didn't want separate displays, but a space where the content "envelops" the participants. How could they ensure that the displays at different points on the stage didn't live separate lives but formed a single, unified show?

The Solution: Synchronized "Digital Canvas"

The ADAM Media team built a complex ecosystem controlled by a media server:

  • Multiple Formats, One Content: The system consisted of five different types of surfaces:
    1. Main Wall: The place for presentations and main messages.
    2. LED Totems: Vertical displays at the edge of the stage for dynamic framing.
    3. Perimeter (Strip) Display: Long, strip-like display that connected the visual elements.
  • The "Conductor" (Media Server): Instead of connecting a separate laptop to each display, all devices were connected to a single high-performance media server. This allowed an animation to "flow" from one screen to another, or a light effect running on the perimeter to move in rhythm with the main wall's content.
  • Technical Demo: The event also served as a demonstration of how an industrial hall/aula can be transformed into a premium event venue purely through the power of technology.

Results in Numbers

  • Integration of 5 different aspect ratio LED surfaces.
  • 1 central control system (0 frame delay between displays).
  • 100% sunlight resistance: The brightness of the indoor LED walls overcame the midday sun.
  • Unified Brand Experience: The same visual effect prevailed from every point in the room.

Client Feedback

"The essence of Onlife Connect is connection. ADAM Media also realized this in the technology: the separate LED walls did not scatter attention but worked together as a single, pulsating unit. We got exactly the professional madness we asked for." – Márton Berze
